Three awards?! Wow – well actually two, but one of them was gifted twice It really feels like Christmas came early, and since I adore giving gifts, I’ve handed them out to some of my fave blogs – but I literally read 100s so it’s impossible to give one to everybody. Okay I’m lying – if you want it, take it! It’s Christmas!

10 Things I’m Looking Forward To:

1. Moving!! We found an apartment with amazing views of the mountains and the north shore, and once it’s all furnished I will be the biggest homebody you’ve ever met and everyone’s partying at my place. We move in December 31s!
2. Selling Our Loft We put our Toronto loft on the market and I’m hoping it sells quick! Once it sells it’ll give us some cash to save, pay off debts, and have fun with. Really looking forward to that!
3. Christmas!!! I can’t wait for Christmas – it’s my absolute favourite time of the year!! Christmas movies, music and tons of good food! And presents of course! I love receiving presents but giving presents and seeing the look on people’s faces when they open them is my favourite thing to do!
4. Princess’ Birthday Party My little girl is turning four years old in January! I’ll be hosting a birthday party for all the kids in her class, it’ll be the first time she’ll have a party with actual kids her own age. I’m so excited I can’t wait!
5. Skiing I’m so excited to go skiing this year – we’re so close to the mountains that I’m sure we’ll be able to go a bunch of times! And I can’t wait to see Princess go skiing again. J is a pro-skier so he’ll be all over the slopes and I’ll be crashing into people on the easy runs.
6. My Birthday It’s becoming bittersweet for me since I really don’t want to get any older, but a birthday does mean parties and presents so 26 can bite it in the ass.
7. New Years Eve I love new years – I love staying up and watching tv, or going out and partying – and I love drinking champagne and making out at midnight having a kiss with the one you love at midnight.
8. A Huge Closet Our new apartment has a huge double closet – HUGE. Lots of room for shoes!
9. New Books This year I’ve taken a hiatus from purchasing too many books – I seriously had stacks of them and had to give many away when I moved to Vancouver. I’m looking forward to more reading in the next year!
10. Changes I embrace change. A new year always promises to bring change with it and I really hope I take advantage of my embracing attitude to change my hair, my weight and perhaps my blog theme? We shall see mes amis!

I just received a new award from Nora at Walking Through the Rain, and it’s called the MeMe award or the Meme award, no one has figured it out yet! Anyway, the award is supposed to be all about me, moi, and I, and I must:

a) share seven tidbits about myself

b) share the award with seven blog friends!

Onto the tidbits!

1 I once fell off of a tree in the second grade. I remember there was a boy who said I couldn’t climb the tree, so obviously I had to climb it. I don’t remember climbing it really, I don’t remember falling. But I remember it was during lunch time, I was wearing a skirt and had flashed the whole school my underwear. Fell unconscious, taken to hospital, and a year later they cut down most of the enormous oak trees that were so great for climbing.

2 My favourite place in the world so far is Amsterdam. I absolutely adore it, it’s gorgeous, perfect, from the streets to the buildings to the canals. Everything about Amsterdam is perfect for me. Even the way they dress and ride bikes and hate English speaking tourists. Oh wait, except for the food. I have not found a single restaurant to my absolute liking. I can always just take a train to Paris though!

3 I am not athletic at all, very klutzy, very un-coordinated, but I love skiing. Even if I kinda suck at it, am terrified of it, and cry going down the mountains sometimes – oh yes, I’ve cried real tears at the fears of going down anything harder than a green square, blue circles leave me in tears, but I do it! And I love it. And the outfits that go along with it. And my pink skis.

4 I don’t care if I know the ending of a movie or tv show. Really, if I’m going to see a movie that you’ve already seen, and I ask to know the ending, just tell me. I’ll still watch the whole movie, I don’t mind. Often I’ll watch the ending of a tv show because I’ve missed the beginning, and then I’ll watch the repeat again so I can watch what I missed. It doesn’t bother me that I know what’s going to happen, weird, isn’t it?

5 I love tea. Sorry coffee. I will still drink you. I love your cappucinos, I love cafe americanos and espressos, but it’s summer. You hurt my tummy. I don’t know what to say. Tea is for me right now.

6 I am a total girly girl, if that really wasn’t obvious enough already… and yet I will never grow my nails to a proper length without them breaking, my hair is never absolutely perfect, and I’ve always been a little on the un-graceful side. I have bruises, and scars all over my legs, and I’ll scratch my skin until I bleed sometimes cus it’s so itchy.

7 This is my home page on my explorer. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I love it.
