Rainbows & Real Estate
You might be noticing some changes around my little corner of the blogosphere – you did notice, right? Well, I’m an impulsive little bitch so I put it up without finishing every last detail – which I promise I will finish within the week or so. I’m just lazy. Sorry.
I’m trying to get my lazy ass in gear by vowing to take one picture each day for a whole year, otherwise known as Project 365, and this is my first pictures – I promise I won’t bore you with posting each picture here! Oh goodness no, but this first one, although it may not be the best quality, is already a favourite of mine.
Yesterday was a dreary day, rainy & cloudy, Vancouver in a nutshell. It was the day I purchased myself a Le Creuset grill/griddle pan to put on my stove and attempt to cook – and I did! I made some mean grilled chicken and baked potatoes, and just as Princess and I were sitting down to eat, I glanced up to the mountains and saw the most beautiful little rainbow.
The sun was setting and it decided to show itself and say hello. Okay, enough sappy crap, but I thought it was cute.
Today’s another gorgeous day but instead of enjoying it, I’m in here, “working”, fixing up my blog, and “studying”. Ugh. This real estate crap is just as ridiculous as I remembered – I hate legal jargon, I hate mumbo-jumbo confusing questions, and I hate school. But, one must venture through the crap to hit gold, right? Right?
Enough.
Is anyone else doing Project 365?
Let me know in the comments so I can find you on Flickr and add you!
xoxo
Fab Brunette

So beautiful!
I'm totally not chilled out enough to do something like Project 365 without feeling like it would stress me out to no end, but I'm excited to see yours!

That's a beautiful picture! I'm doing the Project too, it's both up on my blog and Facebook. I've been pretty consistent so far, so that's a good thing.

Love the changes you're making around here; clean and beautiful design! That's a great photo of the rainbow. I always find rainbows elude me when I'm trying to take a photo of them (not to mention I have no idea when the last time I saw one was!)

Well, I'm taking it day by day, duh, and not stressing. I don't have a professional camera, just a canon powershot, and I'm not going to spend hours playing with the pix on photoshop – just point, shoot, and (with tiny edits) post.

I love all the cookie and dog pictures!

I know, it took me like 10 shots to at least get one proper pic of the rainbow, and still it's not as amazing as in real life!

It's been dreary here all week, and not a rainbow to speak of.
SPRING, WHERE AREEEEEEEE YOUUUUUUUUU??

I hate when it's really nice out and all I want to do is stay indoors and work on my blog. I don't even know why I do it. I just do.

Looks gorgeous, gal! Love it … makes me feel like I need to update mine, I haven't changed my layout in a year LOL. And oooo I'm excited for this project! I know a couple of real-life friends who are doing it and posting it on some project365 website … I can't wait for yours

Hey Miss FAB! I love the new look of your blog! Just wondering though, why are you using Disqus comments? Are you using WordPress or another blog platform?
I've been trying to redesign mine for years too (I started like 20 draft PSDs) but can't make up my mind. =S

I like the whole reply aspect of Discus and the look of it. I came from
Good luck!
typepad and now using wordpress, and was used to the way the typepad
commenting system works, and Discus is fairly similar. Your blog is great, I
love the look of it now

Aww! What a cool photo! And I really love your new layout, too. It's fabulous!
I considered doing a Project 365–to start on January 1st–but the second day into it I just wasn't feeling it and decided not to force it. Sigh. Someday I will do it, and with a vengeance!

I love the new look of the blog… excited to see your pics, too much going on here for me to add another project! But love the blog, think the image is great and excited that you are working on starting the next part of your career life!

Nice new look! Now you are using discus, too. Maybe I should update my blog? Nooo, can't be bothered at the moment. Myself needs a little TLC before I turn to my blog. Just got a new haircut. It's nice to feel like a normal person again…
