31 weeks down, 7 more to go…

Gosh, my bathroom is rather filthy in that picture. Don’t mind the naked Barbies, will you? So 31 weeks, what should I tell you about? How tired I am from getting no sleep? How annoying and grumpy I get when I’m tired? How about the kicks in the ribs, while at the same time getting poked in the hip, and now having trouble finding ANY position to sleep in…

I don’t feel quite prepared to have baby here yet, but we are getting there. We’ll be picking up the stroller, crib and dresser in a couple of weeks, as well as a new vehicle to cart the family around in! I still need to get a crib mattress and probably some more diapers, but most of the other stuff I have already…

I am a bit worried about baby coming early – Princess arrived a whole month early! So to think that in three weeks our little baby boy might be here… it gets stressful but I’m just hoping he stays in there until it’s time for the scheduled c-section… which isn’t scheduled yet. Oh Lord.

I do know this: Baby’s due date is May 15th, and I’ve been told that the doctor will schedule the c-section in the 38th week, which would be the week of May 1st. That we know. I also know that he currently has hair and weighs just under 4 lbs, thanks to the ultrasound we had this week. His measurements are on par with the due date and everything looks healthy as far as we can tell.

The moment we put the crib together and have everything “ready” for this baby, I’ll feel much more prepared, I’m sure. For now, I’ll stay excitedly and grumpily yours,
