Reading a good book with a cup of tea is a perfect moment for me. Perfection does not come along that often so when it does I savor it. I read a wide variety of books – romance, chick-lit, decor, vampire, self-help, fitness, biographies, cooking, business, architectural, French – and there’s also a  variety of books I stay away from – sci-fi, “graphic novels”*, sex-tantric, war – just to name a few.

I love discovering a new book – I have a GoodReads account, which has some of my recent reads on it, and I use it to find other good books as well. Amazon always shows you books ‘you might like’ along with the one you’re looking at, and friends always are sure to give good advice on what to read. My favourite way of finding a book? Simply stumbling along through the covers at the bookstore – picking up something because of the title or the cover or the name of the author. A simple flip through will let you know how interested you might be in it.

I thought it would be simply fabulous to host a book swap, I’ve been part of it before and I always enjoyed reading a random book that someone had sent me!
